 2Back-To-School Fashion

Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn!

As we all know, summer’s over and school is back in session! As much as we all dread the work, admit it we all love seeing new fall fashion. What’s just in, and what’s out. Obviously, every year fashion changes or rather repeats itself. With fashion week recently ending, there’s so many new different “looks” to go for. There’s So many different accessories, jackets, pants, etc. From color blocking, canvas bags, and cross-bodies there’s such a huge selection to choose from.

Creating The “Look”

As said before, fashion repeats itself. You may see many people wearing the vintage look. It all starts with the tops.  This season many shirts are in style; with chiffon shirts being the most popular. Blazers and denim jackets are also at a rise in the fashion world. The infamous 1990’s cropped shirts are also back in style. Now that the weather’s cooling down, flannels and crewnecks are beginning to show their faces in some outfits. But an outfit wouldn’t be an outfit without the top and the bottoms.
Who remembers high waist pants? You know, the ones from Martin, and Clueless. They’re back! High waist pants are back in style and very popular this fall. Also, harem pants, like the ones MC Hammer wore in the “Cant Touch This” video. Floral pants have also made their mark on fashion this year being that the floral design is very popular. Last but not least, cargo-style pants. You may know them as “Kim Possible” pants. What pants are you wearing?
Accessorize The “Look”
Accessories are like the cherry on top of the ice cream, the outfit. They’re what make your outfit different that someone else’s outfit. You could be wearing the same shirt and pants, but how you decorate or accessorize it is what makes it stand out
Cross bodies
Purses were always necessities with females, but they’re also an extension to your “fit”. However, in 2012 the vintage 1980’s cross body purses are back in style.
Belts
Before, who cared about a belt? A belt was just a belt. But now, there’s a wide variety of them: skinny, woven, floral, animal print, etc.
Hair
Since when did hair accessories become so important? In 2012, that’s when. From hair bows, to woven headbands, there’s no way your hair should look boring.

Country Sweet sauce was originated in Rochester, NY. Many other parts of the country have no idea this wonderful sauce even exist! This has become an extreme issue.
Created as an experimental sauce in 1977 by Tom Lask, it eventually made its way to a restaurant located on Monroe Avenue. This restaurant was called “Country Sweet Chicken and Ribs,” and the sauce earned its name after the restaurant.  This location is now closed; nevertheless there are two locations, one located on Mount Hope Ave, and the other on Lake Ave in the one and only, Rochester, NY.
Country sweet sauce is commonly served on ribs, baked beans, chicken, French fries, and many more bbq foods.
Country sweet is not the only “Rochesterian” sauce. It has a rival called “Boss Sauce,” which tastes very similar. However, Boss sauce doesn’t have its own restaurant, making Country sweet even more favorable! Rochester residents often dispute about which sauce taste better; some believe there’s no comparison.
Survey says:
·      75% of Ms.Gamzon’s Journalism class has tried Country Sweet Sauce.
·      85% of them liked it, leaving 15% who don’t like it.
“It’s amazing,” stated Kayli Zeluff
“I love it!” Exclaimed Nikki Ehmann.

If you just so happen to be tempted to try Country Sweet sauce, you can do one of three options:

1.Visit Rochester, NY, and stop by a local restaurant to try it! You wont regret it.

2.If you would like to take some back to your home in another city/state you can stop by Wegmans, Tops, Wal-Mart, or another local grocery store, and pick some up!

3.     Order a set, or individual
bottle off of Amazon.com.

Rochester has many signature aspects other than Country Sweet Sauce. Many local restaurants utilize the popularity of the sauce to expand business. One being Mo’joe’s Chicken & Pizza.
